Private Classes

  • If the student is unable to attend a Private Class due to a health issue, the student may reschedule the Private Class if she or he presents a medical record that attests to her or his health issue. The medical record applies to medical exams performed in-person and for unforeseeable health issues only (medical exams not performed in person, such as medical exams via phone, video, and/or email, are not acceptable), must be issued by a certified medical entity, and must apply to the student the Private Class was scheduled for and to the exact date of the scheduled Private Class. Unforeseeable health issues do not apply to cosmetic and other voluntary medical visits and procedures, nor to related recovery. Certified medical entities include hospitals, health care clinics, and other health organizations that provide health care services, are licensed by, or determined to be qualified as such by, the state or national government, and follow a formal peer review process for the purpose of furthering quality health care.
  • For the purpose of offering a higher quality experience (e.g., avoiding fatigue and promoting the physical and mental health of each person), certain rest periods (“Breaks”) will be allowed during the scheduled time of each Private Class:
    • The student may take one or more Breaks of any length by clearly communicating to the instructor when s(he) would like to take a Break and when s(he) is ready to restart. During each Break requested by the student, the instructor will be on standby, ready to resume the Private Class.
    • The instructor may take one or more Breaks for the purpose of physical needs, such as resting, hydrating, and using the restroom.
    • The instructor may end the Private Class 5 minutes before the scheduled end time for each full hour of scheduled class (e.g., to prepare and begin each Private Class on time, to rest physically and mentally and practice proper hygiene between Private Classes). For example: for Private Classes of 1.0 or 1.5 hours, the instructor may end the Private Class 5 minutes before the scheduled end time; for Private Classes of 2.0 or 2.5 hours, the instructor may end the Private Class 10 minutes before the scheduled end time; and for Private Classes of 3.0 or 3.5 hours, the instructor may end the Private Class 15 minutes before the scheduled end time.
    • The student and instructor should always clearly communicate to the other person prior to taking a Break.
    • The duration of each Private Class will not be extended by Breaks.
    • We always want to provide the best experience. Please inform us if at any time the Breaks taken during your Private Classes do not seem to be reasonable. The purpose of Breaks is not to reduce class time; it is to ensure a higher quality experience for everyone.
  • Unless otherwise approved by DANCEFREE, students may only take up to 2 hours of Private Class per instructor per calendar day, subject to instructor availability.
  • The hours within the package purchased are valid for 90 calendar days commencing on the date of purchase of the package, may only be used by the person the hours were originally purchased for and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • It is prohibited to enter with companions, even if they are students of DANCEFREE, unless the applicable surcharge corresponding to the additional person or people as defined by DANCEFREE, has been paid prior to the start of the Private Class.
  • To ensure the quality and tranquility of every student's Private Class experience, the student may arrive up to a maximum of 30 minutes prior to and depart up to a maximum of 30 minutes after each of her or his scheduled Private Classes, and in all cases should refrain from making noise, distracting and/or in any way disturbing the students and/or instructors of other Private Classes.
  • The student accepts that her or his Private Class may be held in a common space where other Private Classes may be simultaneously held.
  • The student has the option of scheduling her or his Private Class in a private space (for example, in a private salon), subject to availability, for an additional service charge as specified by DANCEFREE.
  • Minimum purchase 1 hour.
  • Minimum duration of a Private Class 1 hour.
  • All Private Classes must be paid for in advance.
  • It is not permitted to schedule Private Class hours that have not yet been paid for.
  • Once Private Classes are scheduled, students are required to make cancellations or changes minimum 2 calendar days in advance.
  • Changes or cancellations of already-scheduled Private Classes are valid only if the student has received a written confirmation from DANCEFREE.
  • If a student does not attend all or part of a Private Class or cancels later than 2 calendar days in advance, the entire number of hours scheduled will be charged to the hours purchased in advance by the student.
  • DANCEFREE makes a secure, password-protected online account available to every student to view scheduled Private Classes and sends reminders of scheduled Private Classes to the email address registered by the student. However, the student must adjust her or his device(s) to Colombia's time zone (UTC-05:00). DANCEFREE is not responsible for absences/failure of the student to attend scheduled Private Classes, in part or in full, under any circumstances, including, but not limited to erroneous email addresses, technical failures, power and data outages, unreliable Internet connections, and time zone differences.
  • DANCEFREE makes a secure, password-protected online account available to every student to view remaining, unscheduled Private Class hours and sends reminders of remaining, unscheduled Private Class hours to the email address registered by the student. Any error in the calculation of the student's remaining, unscheduled Private Class hours, including, but not limited to Private Classes not yet charged and/or charged to incorrect accounts, will be corrected by DANCEFREE, DANCEFREE is not responsible for and the student will not benefit from such error, and the student will be charged accordingly.
  • DANCEFREE reserves the right to supervise Private Classes, offline (in person and via surveillance monitoring equipment) and online (via video conferencing and other online tools, including, but not limited to Google Hangouts/Meet, Skype and Zoom), from time to time. Supervision will always be in a polite and non-intrusive manner for the purpose of ensuring and improving the quality and safety of the experience for everyone.
  • There are no refunds of money/payments under any circumstances.

Group Classes

  • Minors are prohibited to enter. Everyone must carry an official government ID for the purpose of verifying her or his age.
  • DANCEFREE reserves the right to cancel a Group Class for any reason without extending the monthly membership of the student (for example, if there is a special event, Dry Law or another reason of force majeure).
  • The monthly membership is valid according to the number of months purchased (30 calendar days per month).
  • The purchase date of your monthly membership is defined as the date your payment is received ("Membership Purchase Date").
  • The monthly membership begins on the Membership Purchase Date ("Membership Start Date").
  • Only on the Membership Purchase Date, you may select a future Membership Start Date, which must be on or before 30 calendar days after the Membership Purchase Date.
  • You may not change the Membership Start Date after the Membership Purchase Date nor after attending a Group Class paid for with your monthly membership, with no exceptions.
  • If you purchase a membership of more than one month (30 calendar days per month), all months purchased will be continuous, without gaps between months, and will commence on the Membership Start Date.
  • DANCEFREE allows one (1) freeze or suspension of the monthly membership per purchase ("Membership Freeze"), independent of the number of months purchased. A Membership Freeze must be requested minimum three (3) calendar days in advance of the start date requested for the membership freeze or suspension ("Membership Freeze Start Date"), and must occur for a minimum of seven (7) and a maximum of thirty (30) calendar days. Please note that during a Membership Freeze, your monthly membership will be inactive and you will have no membership privileges, with no exceptions.
  • We offer two types of monthly memberships:
    • The first type of monthly membership is a Limited Monthly Membership. The Limited Monthly Membership includes up to 10 Group Classes for each month purchased (30 calendar days per month). You may purchase from 1 to 12 months (30 calendar days per month) of the Limited Monthly Membership, subject to the prices and terms on the Membership Purchase Date. The Limited Monthly Membership does not allow you to carry over unused Group Classes. If you attend less than 10 Group Classes during a 30 calendar day period, the remaining Group Classes for that 30 calendar day period are automatically forfeited/lost and have no future value, with no exceptions. If you purchase more than one month of the Limited Monthly Membership and you have already used the maximum 10 Group Classes for the applicable 30 calendar day period, your Limited Monthly Membership will be inactive and you will have no monthly membership privileges until the next 30 calendar day period begins, if applicable. The date that each 30 calendar day period begins will be determined by adding the applicable number of calendar days (30 calendar days per month) to the Membership Start Date.
    • The second type of monthly membership is an Unlimited Monthly Membership. The Unlimited Monthly Membership includes unlimited Group Classes for each month purchased (30 calendar days per month). You may purchase from 1 to 12 months (30 calendar days per month) of the Unlimited Monthly Membership, subject to the prices and terms on the Membership Purchase Date.
    • Both the Limited Monthly Membership and the Unlimited Monthly Membership include Priority Check-In, which means that you may enter before clients who do not already have an active monthly membership. Priority Check-In does not apply when your monthly membership is inactive, including, but not limited to during Membership Freezes for all types of monthly memberships and when you have already used the maximum 10 Group Classes for the applicable 30 calendar day period for Limited Monthly Memberships. If you purchase more than one month of the Limited Monthly Membership and you have already used the maximum 10 Group Classes for the applicable 30 calendar day period, your Priority Check-In will restart on the date that the next 30 calendar day period begins, if applicable.
  • There are no refunds of money/payments under any circumstances.
  • The monthly membership is personal and non-transferable.
  • It is prohibited to enter with food or beverages in Group Classes prior to social events, including, but not limited to Bar hours.

Bar and Social Events

  • Minors are prohibited to enter. Everyone must carry an official government ID for the purpose of verifying her or his age.
  • It is prohibited to enter with food or beverages.
  • NO COVER doesn't apply if there is a special event.
